BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE OF “HOUSE ON FIRE”

Agamemnon, the singer of the group, was one of the main protagonists on the Greek T.V. musical-talent show, “Fame Story.” Musically trained in the United States, he is the lead singer in three different bands whose styles range from ...pop, rock and funk music. Agamemnon is a passionate performer capable of inspiring the crowd with his vocal abilities and energetic performances. In addition, his communication skills with any live crowd has earned him the reputation of being one of the friendliest yet soulful entertainers in the music scene of Athens.

Adon, the keyboard player of the group is a well-seasoned professional musician and respected sound engineer with his own recording studio in Thesalloniki, Greece. Throughout his career, he has been a member in accomplished bands in the Greek musical circuit.. Due to his long experience, he is versed in a variety of different keyboard playing styles also contributing to some of the songs with his fine backing vocals. On stage, he is the rock-solid, fun-loving yet knowledgeable musician any band-mate can depend on.

Helios began studying drums t the age of six and at the age of fourteen he was already a professional playing percussion with the “Global Youth Orchestra.” He graduated from the Conservatory of Athens, Greece, specializing in classical percussion and from the Modern Music School of Berlin specializing in drums. He has collaborated with some of the most prominent Greek musicians. With “House on Fire,” Helios instead of the drums, plays the cajon, cymbals, shakers and other percussions. His polyphonic, multi-rhythmic percussive capabilities vastly enrich the overall sound of the band

“House on Fire” has been a band for four years and has performed at a variety of resorts including the Canarian islands as well as Santorini island. It is a very tight musical unit whose members know each other extremely well as musicians but also as personalities. On stage, they co-operate smoothly with  one another while their large musical repertoire includes Greek and English pop, rock, funk, mainstream, reggae music and ballads, giving each and every style the attention and approach it deserves. The group has an impressive connection with the audience allowing it to become an active participant of the show. All three band members are very social individuals, fluent English speakers and like to think of themselves as hard-working, serious professionals whose only business is to take live musical entertainment to a higher level.
